Senior Manager, Operational Risk recruitment
Job Responsibilities:
1) Implementation and ongoing maintenance of Group Risk Framework.
2) Plan, manage, and provide ongoing support for the firm’s governance, operational risk, and compliance (GRC) framework
3) Identify the range of exposures, threats and opportunities across functions and business lines arising from all key activities.
4) Prepare standard reports (Key Risk Indicators, Error Incident reporting, etc.) and risk MI as mentioned in the Group Risk Framework or directed by the Funds Regional Operational Risk team and circulate it to the Risk Committee members.
5) Ensure that the information in the Risk Management system is kept up to date at all points of time.
6) Challenge risk owners on the risk identification and rating process and ensure that the same is appropriately documented for completeness of process.
7) Involvement in the strategy and business planning process from a risk identification perspective.
Requirements:
1) Good Honours Graduate degree with recognized Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Management or Operational risk qualification.
2) At least 5 to 8 years of experience in Financial Services industry, Banks or Consultancy Organization
3) Strong knowledge of one or more of investment management, fund administration, capital markets, securities operations essential
4) Knowledge of leading edge risk management/control techniques
5) Knowledge of regulatory environment of institutional / retail fund management required
6) Strong analytical and organizational skills with strong strategic thinking abilities
7) Excellent interpersonal skills and a productive team player
