Senior Manager Operations and Credit Management recruitment

Key responsibilities

Assessment and management of credit risk on a transactional and portfolio basis.

Transaction structuring to mitigate risk and fairly allocate risk / reward between this financial firm and its customers. 

Work closely with relationship managers to drive efficient origination and transparency in company decision-making.

Education:       University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Engineering (or other suitable degrees).

Experience:     10+ years in credit analysis and / or relationship management roles within banks or financial institutions. 

Management and staffing of credit team(s); development of credit policy and parameters. Strong track record of transaction structuring and efficient pipeline management. 

Must have experience on Moody’s RA Moody’s Risk Analyst Software

• Portfolio performance

• Transaction origination performance – efficient review and decision-making, transparency in decision-making criteria and structuring / closing competencies

Reporting to CEO

Department Credit Operations

1.Evaluate credit and business risk of asset-backed financing and leasing transactions for customers in the Corporate and SME market segments.

2.Recommend viable structures to mitigate risk and fairly allocate risk / reward between and its customers.

3.Develop credit parameters to enable transparency in company decision-making and structuring options and solutions.

4.Develop credit infrastructure to drive speed and efficiency in making credit decisions and viable facility structures to mitigate risk

5.Staffing and management of credit team.

6.Financial spreading and credit scoring using Moody’s Risk Analyst software and tools.

7.Review credit requests, process reports and manage through delegated authority decision-makers and related committees.

8.Work closely with relationship management to facilitate effective field screening and structuring of viable solutions for our customers.

9.Develop and standardize credit parameters.

10.Update and revise credit policy – align with bank group risk strategy and parameters.

11.Perform ad hoc tasks as required.
