SENIOR MANAGER, PRESALES (BANKING SOLUTIONS)

Role Description:

To work with the sales and presales teams and provide consultancy and product solution support including presentations and demonstrations with a primary focus to win qualified business for a global banking software company.

Responsibilities:

• Undertake business consultancy activities with prospects to understand the business needs and drivers for change and position the company’s banking solutions.
• Support the sales team in the qualification of a solution fit for a bank’s requirements.
• Responsible for RFP/RFI responses quickly and professionally by:
• Having a detailed knowledge of the functionality and technology of the product range
• Ensuring that all materials such as presentations and demonstrations are maintained up to date
• Build on banking knowledge and product knowledge to support to deliver excellent:
• Presentations to clients and prospects
• Demonstrations (including creation of product data used to demo product capability)

Requirements:

• Banking Knowledge (expected to specialize in some, but have an awareness of all):
o Banking processes and operational models
o Retail (Teller, Remittances etc.)
o Deposit
o Lending
o Trade Finance
o Treasury
o Channels
o Wealth management and private banking

• Experience gained from working in a Bank or a banking solutions vendor.
• Product Knowledge (ability to answer in-depth questions and make detailed presentations on the solution) about Private Banking and Wealth Management. Knowledge of Retail/Corporate Banking would be an added advantage
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Consultative and solution approach
• Positive attitude and proactive tendency
• Ability to work under time pressure
• Experience in a solution / presales role with other banking solution providers, an operational role in a bank or in a consulting environment. Experience in a front-end client facing role is a must.
• Willing to travel on a frequent basis
