As Senior Manager, Quality Assurance you will be responsible for developing and implementing QA Processes, software lifecycle, testing methodology, automation, estimation, planning, execution defect tracking for clients and projects. You will apply technology and business knowledge to solve business problems and create new business opportunities. You will provide techno-functional leadership, help build internal competency within Sapient as well as establish and build relationships with clients, applying knowledge to the business and providing personalized, value-added service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the estimation, planning and implementation of QA frameworks to ensure quality, timely delivery to our clients.
- Oversee project estimations, staffing and scope management. Oversee the development of project deliverables. Identify and manage project and/or program issues. Set project quality and performance standards. Assess and manage risk within, and across, multiple projects.
- Maintain project tracking and information systems.
- Structure and manage integrated, multi-track projects and/or programs of multiple projects.
- Lead development and tracking of project plans to meet objectives and client business drivers.
- Partner with other project leaders to lead, supervise, and structure teams of 25+ people.
- Manage third-party partner and/or vendor relationships and peer-level client relationships.
- Articulate the value of each phase of QA and testing to clients and team.
- Stay on top of current industry environments that shape opportunities for client solutions.
- Work with business leadership to pursue holistic client solutions.
- Participate in recruitment activities.
- Help in proper manual/automation and detect tracking tool selection and set-up.
- Ensure QA best practices are followed diligently.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor's degree.
· Deep project management experience, leading Quality Assurance (QA) programs; consulting experience highly preferred.
· Some work experience in the financial/commodities industry expected; trading experience is highly desired.
- Deep client management experience with accountability for client relationships at executive level.
- Experience managing multiple full project lifecycles from business development to final delivery.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience using object oriented design and development methodologies; Agile, Scrum or Waterfall are preferred.
· Deep team management and leadership experience leading teams of 25+ people preferably including experience with globally distributed teams.
· Ability to define QA approach, structure and build a team, and ensure execution.
· Deep knowledge in QA processes, software lifecycle, testing, planning, execution defect management.
· Deep practical experience in different QA tools, packages and methodologies.
· Openness to travel and work at client offices.
