Our client is an internationally recognized financial institution with a strong presence in Asia. Together we are seeking an engaging and all-round communications specialist to complement their regional team.
With a minimum 8 years of corporate communications or public relations experience in reputable MNCs, preferably within the financial sector, you are strategic in your approach to develop and execute marketing and communications campaigns, both internally and externally. An expert in media relations, you will utilize your regional media contacts to communicate the brand to existing and potential customers. Also minimize any reputational risks, handle crisis situations and provide regular media coaching to various internal stakeholders.
Additionally, you will drive external and internal communications initiatives through digital and multimedia channels. You should also have a proven track record of running successful marketing events, sponsorship and CSR programs.
To effectively communicate with your colleagues throughout the region, native level verbal and written English is required and Chinese language skills desirable. A flexible attitude is essential as part of your duties will include drafting company literature such as quarterly results and taking on ad hoc projects. To be successful in this role you need management experience as well as the ability to build rapport and influence people of different cultures and levels.
