Senior Manager, Regional Compliance recruitment
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure all corporate and region local regulatory compliance requirements are identified and evaluated with effective programs to implement relevant control measures including product initiatives, advertising and communication activities / materials, anti-money laundering, sales practice, etc.
- Participate in the discussions among committees for proposed change of legislation / guidelines and new internal compliance initiatives
- Provide mentoring to managers to enhance their skills in providing compliance advice and monitoring
- Liaise / coordinate with regulatory authorities for change / approval of existing new products / new marketing materials and regular filings
- Provide advisory support and review for appointment of service providers by way of due diligence checking and site visit
- Provide strategic advice for new product / operation developments to achieve the company goals
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Degree holder in Law, Finance or Accounting, with min 10 years of experience in Compliance function of international financial institution
- At least 8 years of relevant compliance experience, of which 2 years is in a regional capacity
- Experience in dealing with regulators
- Excellent communication skills in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
- In-depth knowledge of compliance, strategy, programs, as well as internal controls and risk management
- Able to formulate and draft high quality compliance policy / procedures and work under pressure
- Excellent analytical skills and problem solving ability
- Leadership experience is preferred
