The primary purpose of this role:
Responsible for the maintenance of effective regulatory relationships with the Colonial First State Advice primary regulators, specifically APRA and ASIC and monitoring compliance with the respective compliance framework relevant to each regulator.
More specifically your main duties will include:
- Prudential and regulatory reporting including but not limited to lodgement of breach notifications and co-ordination of ASIC notices;
- Assessment on new and emerging compliance Incidents;
- Management of Incidents in line with Group policies management of breach register;
- Management of all Regulatory correspondence (routine and non-routine);
- Management of Regulatory correspondence database assessment of any changes to Regulatory Guides/Regulator Reports;
- Manage an effective working relationship with APRA/ASIC;
- Coordination of prudential reviews across CFS Advice.
- Provision of advice on APRA/ASIC requirements;
We are seeking an experienced risk compliance professional with:
- Extensive risk management and/or compliance experience from the financial services industry. Experience working with a financial services regulator will be highly regarded.
- Working knowledge of financial services laws and regulations, preferably in the advice/funds management industry.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in negotiating with diverse and senior stakeholders.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications. Further studies will be highly regarded.
