Senior Manager Researcher
What is essential is an ability to really understand fund managers and how they think, to ask them the questions about their funds that they’d really rather not answer and to really get under the skin of their performance and strategy so as to be able to recommend them to your clients in the knowledge they have been thoroughly vetted. You will be mainly researching both Equity and Private Equity funds so significant knowledge of these markets is a prerequisite. Ideally you will have significant experience in manager research from either a consultant or fund of funds, although and equity fund manager looking to move into a research role would also be considered. My client is looking to grow their London operations substantially so future opportunities for career progression are extremely good.
