Due to an internal promotion a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Operational Risk Manager from Financial services to join this reputable corporate in a Senior manager capacity.
Managing a small team of experienced professionals, you will play a pivotal part in reviewing new compliance regulations and enterprise control documents for process re-engineering. You will be a key playing in updating existing processes to aline with new methodologies.
As Senior Manager you will over see the managers in the Risk function of the team.
You will also play a pivotal role in supporting the financial control framework.
You will be the SME for the projects team and possess the ability to lead the team to deliver the agreed SLA to customers.
As the successful candidate for this role you will possess the following:
- 5+years relevant experience
- Operational risk experience at a manager level is a must
- regulatory compliance experience a definite advantage
- A understanding of Risk Management
- Proven staff management
- An understanding of different business units
- Big 4 CA qualification
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills are essential as this is a business facing role liaising with Heads of on a daily basis.
A strategic mindset required coupled with the ability to look at the bigger picture when contributing to the business initiatives with the leadership team in driving the business forward.
