The Brenda Strafford Foundation is a Registered Canadian Charitable Organization. It was established in 1975 by Dr. Barrie I. Strafford. The guiding principle of the organization is to cater to humanity; to bring a measure of hope to people whose outlook seems hopeless. The Brenda Strafford Foundation (BSF) owns and operates three continuing care facilities in Calgary and is opening a Supportive Living facility, located in Okotoks, Alberta. Tudor Manor is a 152 bed Supportive Living Facility including a 26 bed Dementia Unit and is scheduled to open in mid June/July 2012.
BSF is seeking an experienced RN to fulfill the role of Senior Manager (RN) for Tudor Manor. The Senior Manager is responsible for the leadership, planning and over all day to day functioning of the facility. This manager drives the mission, vision, strategic plan and organizational culture for this division of the Brenda Strafford Foundation.
The successful candidate will have a Graduate degree in Hospital or Health Service Administration or equivalent experience, five years progressive managerial Experience, RN or eligible for registration with CARNA, experience in the field of Gerontology, supportive living or a long-term care environment.
