Senior Manager – Statistical Analysis recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Perform statistical analysis in support of business plans. Analyze data, produce reports and graphics. Write summary reports and/or presentations that translate the results of analyses into non-technical results
• Creating business value by solving business problems using statistical and analytical methodologies
• Developing, implementing, documenting, and monitoring statistical models, both scoring models and valuation models
• Develop statistical competencies of others within the same line of business. Also work to develop overall stat competencies across the bank; teach and mentor statistics
• Lead the statistical analysis associated with business projects
• Manage administrative tasks including personnel documentation
• Manage up to 4 people
Requirements:
• 3+years of experience as a developer or validator of statistical risk models
• Proficiency in key statistical techniques (predictive modeling, logistic regression, survival analysis, design of experiments, decision trees, data mining methods, and other advanced statistical techniques)
• Experience in Statistical modeling techniques such as linear regression, logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks, survival analysis
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in SAS / Matlab
• PhD / Master’s Degree in Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering or Operations Research
