This well recognized wholesale bank institution has a tremendous track record, they are entering into an exciting phase of rapid change and development caused by a combination of new leadership and a shift in vision and direction which is unlocking new markets and potential for growth. As a consequence of a restructure and new investment a small team is being created to support the Senior Executives team across Finance and the businesses to act as a key enablement function assisting in the delivery of the organisational objectives.
In this challenging hands on role you will assist in the establishment of a new function that will act as a key support and value add to the business providing strategic and commercial insights and analysis and recommendations on performance KPIs and strategic opportunities facing the business
These commercial insights and strategic analysis will be presented to the CEO CFO and senior executive leadership team including BU GMs
Examples of the strategic and analytical focus include but are not limited to providing; competitor benchmarking , Channel Analysis, Pricing consistency, customer income analysis, cost to serve, service delivery efficiency, new customer acquisition reviews etc.
Key to your success in this role will be you ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence and support key initiatives as well as being able to engender support for your fact based strategic analysis and recommendations
We are seeking candidates with a background in strategy consulting and analytics from a top tier consulting or Big 4 background and having exceptional analytical capability and ideally will be experienced in an institutional banking business in strategy or related roles. Strong stakeholder engagement communication and presentation skills are required as are attention to detail and a hands on can do approach.
