Senior Manager – Strategic Planning recruitment
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversees the development of Strategic Planning for HK business.
- May be involved from time to time as Project Manager for execution of new strategic initiatives ensuring projects are on time, within budget and according to an agreed scope.
- Designs a structured and flexible strategic development process within a well governed framework.
- Review business initiatives to ensure consistency with Regional strategic goals.
- Analyze the results of market, competitor, customer and product research, strategic initiative projects, organizational department activity and operating reports ensuring alignment with strategic planning process and submissions.
- Ensures the strategic planning cycle including all inputs, submission and analysis are completed according to calendar on time, endorsed and approved.
- Manages an annual Post Implementation Review Process on Strategic Planning processes in order to drive ongoing improvements.
- Liaises with business units and external groups (when required) for market and competitor information as input into strategic research.
Requirement:
- Degree with at least 10 years experience in strategy, finance, project and business development
- Demonstrated experience in financial planning, analysis and management with ability to analyze financial plans, business cases and business results including new business, product profitability, operating earnings, cashflow / capital constraints, appraisal value and financial decision making tools such as DCF, NPV, cost/income ratio, etc.
- Ability to communicate financial information conclusions effectively
- Strategic Planning experience desirable
- Understanding of project management and PMO procedures.
