Job Summary:
Responsible for managing the Company’s US federal and state tax compliance process, and special projects which may arise from time to time. Assist with the annual ASC 740 tax provision process. Manage US tax controversies.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the US tax compliance provision process which includes working with and coordinating Tax Department, Finance and other Company personnel.
Assist in the analysis of tax positions to be taken by the Company which includes research and writing of memoranda.
Responsible for managing tax audits in the US.
Requirements:
BA or BS degree is required with a major in Accounting preferred; Masters in Taxation preferred.
At least 7-10 years of work in Tax with at least 4 years in a Big 4 Firm.
Excellent skills in the analysis of the balance sheet and income statement.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including grammar and spelling skills.
Project and time management skills.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint and knowledge of OneSource Income Tax a plus.
