An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Manager to join the Transaction Taxes team in Sydney. As a member of the global Transaction Taxes team, you will be responsible for providing expert indirect tax advice on transactions and proposals to Macquarie's business divisions and pro-actively managing indirect tax obligations. This role will offer you unparalleled exposure to GST advisory work and the opportunity to accelerate your career in a dynamic environment.
To succeed in this role you will:
- Have proven experience in the indirect taxes advisory group of a top tier law or accounting firm
- Possess a strong understanding of financial transactions and products
- Demonstrate an ability to manage multiple transactions and exercise sound professional judgment together with an ability to develop and maintain strong internal relationships with business managers
