Vendor Management, HPC PCA Amazon.com is looking for a driven, experienced business leader for the retail Health Personal Care (HPC) and Personal Care Appliance (PCA) businesses, two of the fastest growing segments within our Consumables organization. Every consumer in America uses HPC PCA products every day. Wersquo;re looking for a leader who can take this existing consumer demand and help customers ldquo;skip the storerdquo; by optimizing Subscribe Save and ensuring we have the right selection at the right price, when and where the customer needs it. The role includes PL responsibility for both HPC and PCA, leading the team responsible for vendor relationship management and negotiations, driving sales/marketing/promotions, and improving overall efficiency of the organization. This role will be responsible for driving selection expansion, developing new strategic relationships, meeting revenue, margin, profitability targets and drive continuous improvement of our processes. Additionally, the candidate will play a vital leadership role driving change outside of the candidatersquo;s direct team in areas such as supply chain/operations, retail systems (particularly Pricing and Subscribe Save) and company-wide process improvement. This is a key leadership role in one of Amazonrsquo;s largest businesses that continues to experience strong growth. The Senior Manager of Vendor Management will be a big thinker who can excel in analytics, effectively manage people/organizations, make data-driven decisions, and demonstrate a bias toward creating scalable business processes. The candidate will have proven experience delivering results both within and outside his/her organization. The successful candidate will utilize and expand skills in e-commerce business management, vendor negotiations, and leading a team. Reports to Category Leader, Health Beauty. Responsibilities Include: Develop and lead on-going and annual vendor negotiations Exceed financial targets: revenue, margin, and contribution profit. Deliver brand and selection expansion targets Drive improved in-stock levels and Retail system adoption Develop and lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews Work cross-functionally to drive process improvements and improved free cash flow Develop and lead team of Vendor Managers Effectively influence all areas of the business (retail, operations, planning, Subscribe Save, 3P) Basic Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred 7+ years of relevant retail leadership experience Experience with financial analysis and PL ownership Management experience Preferred Qualifications Relevant senior level experience in retail, operations, finance and/or business management, with a proven history of owning and delivering results Proven experience leading teams cross-functional projects Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and vendor management experience Strong numerical and analytical aptitude Strong written and verbal communication skills
