The Senior Manager, Vendor Oversight will be the primary liaison between the Company and vendors. They will be responsible for the auditing, negotiations and relationship management associated with all outside vendors and produce executive level reports summarizing current vendor activities and performance.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage and analyze vendor performance to evaluate compliance, quality assurance, and service levels provided to Citizens customers and implement corrective actions, as necessary.
- Develop and improve reports methodologies, monitor performance measures, communicate trends, as well as, make recommendations to Citizens management and vendors.
- Develop and maintain the Vendor Management framework, program, policies, processes, standards, and practices to include, but not limited to the mitigation of vendor risks, compliance with regulatory requirements, escalation and resolution processes and acceptable business continuity plans.
- Provide support to business partners, Internal Audit, and Examiners relative to the full range of vendor management requirements, including contract negotiations as well as internal, external, and regulatory exams.
- Monitor for consistent compliance with all vendor related policies.
- Provide management reporting of all aspects of vendor management, including quarterly and annually.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or related experience required
- 8-10 years project management experience within a financial services preferred
- Minimum 5 years previous vendor management experience
- Proven ability to effectively understand the variety of assessments and how to improve them within a Vendor Management environment
- PMP Certification desirable
- Technical proficiencies in MS Excel, MS Access, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and SharePoint are required
- Experience using MS Project and/or other project management tools desirable
- Exceptional project management, follow-up, and reporting skills using both verbal and written styles
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task, have leadership presence, strong team-orientation and interpersonal skills, flexibility, strong influencing, facilitation, and partnering skills
- Proven ability to work independently and effectively in a complex environment with multi-location team structure
