Senior Manager/Associate Director, Institutional Sales recruitment
Role description:
- Candidates need to have the ability to understand fund products, especially Greater China Hedge Fund, in a professional manner and will be able to articulate different strategies to clients. Strong background of selling Hedge Fund capability in the past experience would be much preferred.
- Strong relationships with global consultants and gatekeepers are a plus.
- Asset management and hedge fund sales experience a must. Institutional sales experience marketing to Asia, US and Europe is a plus.
- Based in Hong Kong, this position will require frequent travel.
Requirements:
- University degree in Finance or Economics
- At least 4 years plus experience with track record of selling long-biased funds and hedge funds to institutional clients and strong in endowments in global markets, particularly across the United States.
- Deep knowledge of / relationships with investors likely to invest in Asia based funds.
- Diligent, self-motivated and works very well in a team-based environment.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Familiar with Microsoft Office, Excel, Powerpoint and Chinese word processing
