Job Description
- Calculate offers for pensionfunds, corporate clients or affinity groups on behalf of the sales team and (mandated) brokers
- Calculate offers based on actuarial analysis, claim experience, market evaluation and economical underwriting
- Work out innovative solutions for our clients
- Monitor bottom line of the portfolio
- Input and suggestions to improve our pricing guidelines
- Risk analysis on behalf of pricing and portfolio development
- Analyse and quantify risks and work on improvement
- Support the sales team and have contact with actuaries regarding technical content
- Calculate premium split on behalf of quarterly and annual closing
- Support actuarial and technical publications
- Portfolio analysis regarding claims, premium level, growth, and profitability
- Support broker and client events and seminars
Job Requirements
- Degree in actuarial science, mathematics or physics
- Minimum of 5 years experience as an Actuary working in life insurance
- Proven experience with Dutch Pension Act related business and other relevant regulations and laws (ie. wet medische keuringen, wet bescherming persoonsgegevens, WIA)
- Experience with actuarial calculation tools and IT and experience related to product development
- Fluent in Dutch English; French and/or German would be an asset
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Proactive en solution oriented mind-set
- Used to work under pressure
