Senior Market Risk Controller recruitment
My client, a Swiss bank active in Corporate Private Banking, is looking to expand its 2nd line Risk Control team. You will function as the Deputy Team Leader of a team of 4 senior specialists and work in close cooperation with the Trading and Treasury teams.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide specialist, ex-ante Risk analysis on unusual transactions within the Trading and Treasury business.
- Authorise transactions whilst advising on appropriate risk measurements.
- Operate as point of contact for the Traders on market risk topics.
- Use your risk engineering skills for identification and monitoring of market risks.
- Work on ad-hoc projects in the ex-ante risk management field.
Your profile:
- University degree or doctorate in a mathematics or engineering field.
- At least 5 years experience in market risk, combined with a solid understanding of financial products, especially derivatives/ structured products.
- Programming and scrypting skills (Phyton/ C++/ Java) and generally good IT skills.
- Strong analytical skills and pragmatic attitude.
- Fluent German and English.
