Senior Marketing Communication Specialist
- Develops marketing programs in coordination with Market and Product Business Unit staff for target markets or customers to achieve business goals.
- Manages the creation and maintenance of internal and external websites.
- Manages paid search program.
- Manages Engine Parts and services social media strategy.
- Develop and manage photo and marketing asset database.
- Provides leadership in terms of developing and implementing marketing communication programs through collaboration with members of the marketing, sales, and product business unit departments.
- May create or act as project manager for the development of specific sales presentations, marketing communications documents, and collateral materials to be used by sales people for target markets or customers.
- Applies the graphic standards for business unit and maintains the knowledge base on how brands and sub-brands are used graphically.
- Sources and assembles technical application data and product information for sales force and international entities. Publishes and communicates for all entities to share.
- Participates in the collection and analysis of Voice of the Market and Voice of the Customer efforts to support the Marketing Launch of new products into target sales channels.
- Establishes metrics or a feedback loop to ascertain if marketing efforts are having their intended impact. Provides feedback to management.
- Designs and produces catalog tools to support the business through coordination with product management, product support, entity marketing contacts, and business unit staff. Stays current on catalog tools and provides recommendations for improvements for Engine Systems Parts.
- Reviews and validates that marketing communications are current and relevant and establish a program to refresh or replace materials as a result of the validation process.
- Keeps global marketing contacts informed and involved in marketing programs and collateral available in Engine Systems Parts.
- May coordinate print buying from both internal and external sources: evaluating the best choice for each project, composing electronic files to suit what they need, determining production schedule to meet deadlines, and following the project from start to satisfactory end.
- Ensures that literature and other marketing tools are available for use in the global market place including gathering input for entities marketing and product management staff in terms of content, presentation and volume.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing design or production.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years marketing communications experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluent in Adobe Suite - InDesign, Illustrator and other print design software.
- Understanding of web development using industry standard tools. SharePoint knowledge preferred.
