Senior Marketing Manager – e-Commerce Product Proposition recruitment
The purpose of this Senior Marketing Manager - e-Commerce Product Proposition role is to drive the successful development of an e-commerce payment product that meets the needs of Visa members, consumers, merchants and Visa Europe.
This Senior Marketing Manager - e-Commerce Product Proposition position is a senior management role and the holder, as part of the e-commerce team, will be involved in shaping all propositions, defining business requirements for the product, building member and merchant business cases, and supporting the full sales and on-boarding cycle.
The Senior Marketing Manager - e-Commerce Product Proposition role is an initial 6 month contract based in our Paddington, London office and will be paying a competitive daily rate
Key Accountabilities:
- Identify, size and prioritise key market players
- Determine stakeholder needs, facilitate input into product development requirements and define go-to-market (GTM) strategies
- Own the Acquiring / Merchant GTM business plan, driving take up to ensure Business case is met / exceeded.
- Provide ongoing recommendations on the Pricing strategy within governance requirements.
- Champion the product offering, working with the sales channel and key customers as appropriate
Essential criteria:
- A strong track record of product development or merchant account and sales management within an e-commerce business (Merchant or PSP)
- Knowledge of the payments industry
- Strong business acumen and strategic problem solving skills
- Excellent analytical skills to
- Exceptional project management skills
- Proven influencing and communication skills to manage senior level internal and external stakeholders
Desirable criteria:
- Payment cards environment experience
- Knowledge of the financial services industry with familiarity across European geographies
- Experience of working in continental Europe and the ability to speak more than one European language
- MBA or equivalent qualification
