The Senior Marketing Manager, Monster Government Solutions
will develop integrated marketing programs targeting Monster’s Federal, State Local, and Education customers. The Senior Marketing Manager will recognize strategic growth opportunities and develop and implement actionable programs against those opportunities in order to drive revenue. This individual will work closely with Monster Government Solution’s Sales, Product, Insights, Advertising, CRM and Communications teams.
Essential Functions:

Understand business strategies and organizational needs and translate them into actionable integrated marketing plans; working with internal and external resources to make them work -
Collaborate in the development of the marketing strategy for Monster Government Solutions -
Deliver strong return on investment through development and implementation of targeted customer acquisition and retention programs encompassing advertising, direct marketing, lead generation, sales communications, sales programs, trade shows and events, thought leadership, PR, and social media. -
Quantify and qualify impact of marketing efforts by forecasting performance, measuring marketing efforts, and providing recommendations for changes in strategy based on marketing program performance -
Work closely with trade associations to ensure maximum benefits from those relationships -
Partner with the Monster Insights Team to gather and analyze competitive intelligence and customer and market trend data, as well as, deploy primary research, as needed, to support market opportunity identification, development and exploitation -
“Operationalize” marketing initiatives with internal and external teams -
Plan and execute customer retention programs including customer advisory councils and users groups -
Help streamline operations by filling gaps and eliminating redundancy while executing on-time and on-budget programs
Qualifications:
Must have experience in:

Planning and executing cross-functional programs from inception through completion and measurement of success marketing to Government -
Bachelors degree required; MBA a plus -
8+ years experience in marketing, with a minimum of 4 years marketing to Government -
Demonstrated track record of developing and executing effective strategies, campaigns, and plans with demonstrable results -
A philosophy of inclusion and teamwork -
Superior interpersonal abilities and strong communications skills (oral and written) in order to work with a broad array of personnel across functions and at all levels within the company including sales, business development, and product personnel -
Marketing to Government channels (systems integrators, VARs) is a plus -
Experience in customer-facing meetings is a plus
There is no relocation assistance offered for this position. Candidates must be willing and able to report to the Monster Government Solutions offices in McLean, VA on a daily basis.
