Senior Marketing Manager

This client is a global provider of banking, financial, advisory, investment and funds management services, acting on behalf of institutional, corporate and retail clients and counterparties around the world. This particular division is responsible for developing and managing innovative and specialist investment products for distribution to a broad range of retail and institutional investors.

There is currently an opportunity for an experienced Senior Marketing Manager to join the team in Sydney. In this role you will drive the delivery of defined strategic investment platforms priorities and objectives through the development and implementation of insights-based marketing strategy, including underlying aligned tactical deliverables. The challenge will be to consistently deliver innovative and impactful marketing solutions while managing stakeholders across the business and embedding a marketing and insights culture.

Tasks and Responsibilities
* The development of marketing strategy including tactical initiatives based on agreed Investment Platforms objectives
* Development of campaign strategy (including campaign briefs and communications strategy) that delivers to the marketing strategy incorporating appropriate consumer/competitor insight provided through the relevant marketing and insight teams
* Manage key stakeholder engagement to achieve agreement of strategy, provide regular updates on progress to plan and manage conflicts in a professional and timely manner
* Project manage marketing plan deliverables to ensure achievement on time, on budget through effective engagement of marketing team, external suppliers, sales and business stakeholders
* Identify business opportunities, based on insights including value analysis and prioritisation
* Work with Brand team to develop differentiated positioning for brand(s), product and service offerings
* Monitor performance against plan objectives and recommend changes to marketing plans if required.

The successful candidate will have experience in a senior marketing position with a focus on platforms or broader wealth products. You will have a flexible approach with experience driving marketing plans and campaigns end to end. The role will require a high degree of stakeholder management with exposure across the business, and a focus on process improvement to generate, evaluate and implement enhancements in performance and productivity.
