Senior Marketing Manager – UK Intermediaries recruitment
The responsibilities of the role are as follows:
- Deliver effective marketing that helps to increase investment in the business’ products and develop the brand, primarily focused on the adviser marketplace, but with some level of direct to investor activity
- Create and implement coordinated marketing plans to the UK intermediary market
- Work closely with the marketing team, the strategic partnership team and senior management to understand the needs and opportunities in the market for the business’ products. Use these insights to develop and implement a marketing plan which materially increases sales through brand building and coordinated campaigns
- Deliver marketing campaigns, managing events managers, graphic designers, web developers and copywriters
- Campaign strategy, creation and implementation
- Marketing collateral creation and customisation
- Coordination of complete communication programme (advertising, web, PR, etc.)
- Identify and deliver opportunities for further sales expansion to include cross-selling additional products.
- Periodically analyze and report the impact of marketing activities. Develop a point of view of what efforts are successful and why. Present results monthly to senior leadership and incorporate insights into marketing and sales efforts
- Conduct ongoing customer and market research, gathering intelligence and taking a proactive approach to influencing business strategy and product design.
- Conduct competitor research to monitor the marketing of new products and customer needs
Necessary skills and attributes:
- Experience in marketing within investment manager necessary
- Broad marketing experience, with a focus on delivery and measurement
- Hands-on marketer and strategic thinker
- Excellent understanding of the UK intermediary/IFA market
- Management experience preferred
- Works efficiently and communicates in a professional manner, managing multiple tasks and documents, processes and procedures
- Demonstrates a collegiate attitude to other teams and colleagues
- Innovative and creative marketing individual who can respond quickly to changing work demands and implement ideas conducive to business growth
- Makes effective decisions in complex situations; improves systems or processes to resolve ongoing problems
