Senior Marketing/Competitor Analyst recruitment
Reponsibilities
Analyse and identify trends related to the strategic positioning of the company product versus their competitors for senior external facing professionals.
- Independently prepare, analyse and make recommendations conducted through a quantitative and qualitative perspective.
- Identifies and assesses trends within the institutional investment management industry and share compelling/analytical rationale behind recommendations.
- Work with sophisticated analytical systems such as Zephyr Style Advisor, Morningstar Direct, consulting databases, and other portfolio analytic systems.
- Posess an in-depth understanding of the current competitive landscape, and related industry trends. These analyses and recommendations are used by Sales, Client Service, Consultant Relations, Portfolio Specialists, and Portfolio Managers to support the gathering and retention of assets.
Conducts and compiles research and produces summaries of key competitors' products on a quarterly basis.
- Manages projects and Ad Hoc requests from sales and client service professionals for competitor and product research to assist in the sales and service process.
Market Research and Planning Projects - work with marketing colleagues on projects including new product research and background for road-show presentations.

Required:
Outstanding analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative through the understanding of risk statistics, style analysis, and correlation analysis.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Software and Database skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience communicating financial matters
- Discipline to manage large volumes of projects versus tight deadlines
Preferred:
Extensive experience in an investment firm
