Senior Markets Audit Manager
The Senior Markets Audit Manager will drive our coverage of a portfolio of trading businesses. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of auditing desks trading a range of products in a global capital markets environment.
You will have the ability to expertly identify and assess the risks inherent in trading activities, and use your extensive knowledge of industry best practice to evaluate and test mitigating controls.
The role will also include:
- To drive best practice audit approaches for the trading businesses in your portfolio and also for thematic work across the Markets business as a whole.
- To help retain, motivate and manage the performance of staff, supporting them in maximising their contribution to the Team and in developing their career in line with their aspirations.
- To maintain current, specialist knowledge of the risks faced by trading businesses, including changes in industry practices and the regulatory environment.
- To drive the continuous monitoring of the businesses in your portfolio and development of a periodic opinion of the control environment for both those businesses and Markets as a whole.
- To partner with otherinternalauditteams to provide specialist expertise and contribute to cross-divisional projects.
- To build and manage high impact relationship with management and other stakeholders.
You will have :
- Audit experience and specific relevant knowledge of either Markets, Banking or Risk, Operations and Finance within an Investment Bank
- Audit experience within a complex Financial Services business, ideally including Front-to-Back audit experience- Business specific product - technical knowledge relating to the experience above.
- High level knowledge of banking - financial services business processes.
The client is a top tier bank.
£80000-£90000 plus benefits.
