Security Clearance: Ability to Obtain
Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants selected will be subject to government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Typical Minimums Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Considered career, or journey, level.
- Proficient in dynamic modeling using ADAMS or equivalent rigid body simulation tool
- Classical analysis techniques, equations of motion, mass damping systems, modal analysis, random
vibration analysis
- Transportation loads analysis, isolation techniques
- Dynamics test planning and execution
Dynamics Engineer will be responsible for supporting Ground Combat Vehicle (GCV) design and development.
Responsibilities will include:
- dynamic and transient response analyses for the GCV turret and chassis interface
- loads analysis for transportation, road conditions and adverse operating environments
- modal analyses for sensor packages
- driving load cases to support component sizing, fatigue, and structural activities
- technical direction to the environmental test team based on interpretation and correlation of
system test results
- technical writing and reports for both internal and external review

Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance.

Desired skills are also sought to identify versatility and suitability of candidates for work on other MFC programs(i.e. flight hardware).
- Experience in NASTRAN, ANSYS, or equivalent stress analysis tools is desired
- Flutter and tip-off analysis is desired
- Blast and penetration analysis is desired
- Acoustic signature analysis is desired
- Experience in development of MFC or equivalent military hardware systems to include rocket systems, combat vehicles and launchers is desired
