Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Senior Medical Director (SVP Clinical Solutions) position will report to Madhavi Vemireddy MD, CMO and Head of Product Management at ActiveHealth Mgnt. The Sr. Medical Director candidate will function as an integral part of the Clinical Product Management team and will have a leadership role in supporting the Client Management and Sales team. In addition, he/she will participate in the development of our clinical decision support, analytic and care management programs. The candidate must possess a strong background in working with Provider, Plan Sponsor, and Health Plan customers. Additional MD requirements include, but are not limited to: -Bachelors Degree-Doctorate in Medicine from an accredited university -Completed Residency Training Program -3 to 5 yrs recent clinical and/or informatics exp. -Strong organizational and detail oriented skills -Ability to work independently and adapt to team approach as necessary The MD candidate must have a current Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pediatrics, or other medical specialty. The candidate must have board certification obtained within 2 years of board eligibility in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics or Family Practice etc. The candidate must sit and pass specialty boards within 2 yrs. of becoming eligible. An active medical license is required. The candidate must have documentation of a minimum of 50 category 1 AMA credits per year while employed at AHM. EDUCATION The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Doctorate.
