Senior MEICA Auditor Job in North, Yorkshire UK
Our very busy client is seeking a degree qualified Senior MEICA Auditor to join their team for a 9 month contract.
You will be monitoring adherence to financial and contractural requirements, ensuring that contractors have appropriate processes in place to demonstrate adequate technical self-certification (quality, frequency, accuracy), providing assurance to the Employer and to contractors through a directed and agreed annual technical audit and improvement programme.
In addition to identifying areas for improvement, you will support the Employer and Contractors in identifying good practise and new ideas/innovation from both within the contractors community and from outside. For the avoidance of doubt, technical audits shall include (but not be limited to) health and safety, environmental, technical and modelling audits.
You must have previous experience in the water industry preferably in the civil elements in the design of water/wastewater treatment plant and water/wastewater networks
Experience of all stages of the project life cycle including feasibility conceptual design, option appraisal and whole life costing, value engineering, detailed design, generation of contract specifications, tender appraisal and contractor management.
Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office
Able to work well in a team and independently
Strong communication skills (both written and oral) with an ability to communicate at all levels with the client, suppliers, contractors and our design team. Good report writing skills are an essential requirement.

Proven organisational skills and able to multi-task.
