Priding itself on a collaborative working environment and friendly culture, this company now requires an open pit Senior Mining Engineer to assist in the management and production of its flagship operation.
Job Description
Reporting to the Mining Manager, the Senior Mining Engineer will be responsible for both production outcomes and technical services. Specific responsibilities include;
- Alternate Mining Manager
- Production analysis and reporting
- Examining and analysing mining methods to improve mine performance
- Short, medium and long term mine planning
The Successful Applicant
To be successful in this Senior Mining Engineer role, you will ideally possess;
- Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
- An Unrestricted Quarry Managers ticket
- A minimum of 5 years experience in mining operations
- A solid understanding of Australian practices and mining systems
