Due to an internal promotion a new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Risk Manager who is a subject matter expert when it comes to Equities and Derivatives to join one of the most reputable Financial services organisations in Sydney.
This fantastic role has a clearly defined career path for the successful candidate though on going exposure and personable development.
The main focus of this role will include:
- Oversight of quantification, analysis, monitoring and reporting risks
- Oversight of Corporate action analysis
- Risk monitoring and breach escalation to senior management
- Price analysis
- Liaison with the board
- Management of internal Stake holder requests
- Strong regulatory knowledge
As the successful candidate for the role you will possess the following:
- Financial Markets Operations background - Derivatives and Equities
- Outstanding communication skills are essential as this role has a stakeholder focus
- Tertiary qualification in Finance/Economics
- Previously experience at a senior manager level within the risk/operations area of a large corporate financial services institution required
- An understanding of regulatory requirements
