Senior Mobile Device Systems Engineer (iOS, Android, Blackberry) 5-8 Years Experience

Convenient access to relevant information any where at any time has been a major focus and driver for the growth in the Mobile space. Mobile devices have increased productivity by providing instant access to email, contacts and mobilized applications. Creating and enhancing the infrastructure used to support them requires a technician with specialized skills and knowledge.
Fidelity's Enterprise Infrastructure (EI) organization is seeking an energetic and dynamic Engineer that will be responsible for defining and implementing complex projects within the Mobile device and supporting infrastructure. The candidate will serve as the strategic Mobile device Subject Matter Expert responsible for product planning and execution throughout the vendor product lifecycles, including: gathering and prioritizing product requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, service delivery and operations to ensure quality, standards and agreed goals are met.
Primary Responsibilities
- Participate in the development and testing of new features and products which strengthen the infrastructure, security and overall reliability of the Fidelity mobile device space
- Participate in ongoing efforts required to enhance the existing Mobile Iron, Good for Enterprise, and Active Sync environments
- Evaluation of new mobile products identification of preferred products that will augment and improve the existing mobile infrastructure
- Assist with mobile hardware selection and configuration
- Architecture, implementation and configuration of the mobile management environments dedicated to iOS and Android devices
- Ability to manage, maintain, support, troubleshoot, and optimize mobile solution presently in place while making suggestion and adjustments to needs in the future
- Defining product strategy and roadmap
- Run beta and pilot programs with early-stage products, samples and demonstrations
- Maintain a close relationship with the vendors and provide feedback on vendor products and maintain license and support agreements
- Provide the required daily support, maintenance, and management of the platforms.
- Provide Level III support and repair
- Develop and maintain high standards in establishing procedures and policies to address routine jobs and certain resolution protocols.
Education and Experience
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 5+ years of mobile device suport experience
Skills and Knowledge
- Expert knowledge of Android OS and iOS are critical, and Blackberry is a plus
- Prior experience with enterprise-scale OTA upgrades of mobile devices
- Expert understanding of at least one enterprise-level mobile device management application such as Good for Enterprise or Mobile Iron, BES is a plus
- Experience planning, creating and deploying (OTA) security device management policies
- Experience scripting and in other automation methods
- In-depth knowledge of mobile device troubleshooting methods - both client and server-side
- Functional knowledge of Exchange
- A thorough knowledge of the Windows family of operating systems, MAC is a plus
- Strong systems engineering skills with an emphasis on enterprise scale architecture
- Strong, clear communication skills including written, verbal and presentation skills
- Strong people skills, coaching mentoring experience.
- Solid understanding of Networking related to computer Operating Systems
