Senior MRO Sales Executive Job in Sydney, New South Wales Australia

Reporting to the In Service Support Commercial Director, the successful candidate will have to support sales and marketing management: identify competitor strategy, search for new market opportunities and  monitor sales effectiveness.

 

The main activities include:

ü  Identify key prospective targets and implement a contact strategy to secure appointments with decision makers.

ü  Contact and visit customers. Regularly visit active and potential customers to ensure their needs have been identified and that we deliver the service they expect, always looking for new business opportunities with them.

ü  Take initiatives for seeking new/emerging business opportunities

ü  Negotiate and close profitable contracts with new customers

ü  Communicate and coordinate with other members of the Department always in constructive ways. It is also important to work in close cooperation with colleagues from other cross functional departments, specially engineers,  to prepare accurate and tailored proposals to meet customer expectations.

 

Requirements

 

Senior sales executive with a minimum of 5 years sales experience in aeronautical areas. University degree would be a plus, in particular Aeronautical engineering.

 

Excellent  interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to manage / influence all levels in particular creating engagement at Board levels

 

Ability to identify relevant opportunities.

 

Good knowledge of Aeronautical market, specially MRO activities related to gas turbine engines.
