Our client, a leader in the health care industry, is looking for multiple Senior .NET Developers.
Job Description:
The Senior .NET Developers will serve as technical experts for the design, development and implementation of assigned areas for the company's specific product. Produce documented application code to support the product development activities for the product, as well as researching development in the assigned technologies and producing designs in alignment with the business product environments. Develop applications of high quality (i.e. low defect rates) and consistent with the company's business standards and architecture. Provide input on the technology plans for the product development organization, while ensuring the plans for the assigned applications integrate effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure. Advise management on application and supporting technology purchases and on future projects and environment upgrades/modifications.
Required Skills:
5+ years of extensive experience in developing large scale applications in C# and ASP.NET is required, in addition to extensive experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and SQL Server 2005/2008 (stored procedures, indexes, etc.). Experience in process quality methodologies is also required. Flexible, energetic and detail oriented individual with the ability to direct meetings, resolve issues, interact effectively with clients, guide management on best practices/approaches, quickly change directions and work within a highly collaborative yet unstructured and very deadline intensive environment is essential, as well as a willingness to learn new technologies. Creative, analytical and business focused professional with solid skills in verbal and written communication is also essential. Bachelor's degree is required.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Silverlight, AJAX Control Toolkit, Lean/Agile development methodologies and HL7 and RFID based technologies is preferred, as well as experience within a health care or software product development environment.
12-month contracts (with strong possibility for contract-to-hire) with 40+ hours per week required. NOTE: We are unable to work on a corp-to-corp basis for these particular positions.
