Operating independently under minimal direction, this position is responsible for the development of innovative software solutions, especially in the area of SQL databases, at Building Efficiency that run a PC or server platform.

 

Primary Duties:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  1. Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a closely related discipline is preferred.  Candidates without a degree may be considered if they can demonstrate the necessary level of knowledge and skills
  2.  Must have a minimum of 7 years related software development experience.  Minimum 3-5 years direct experience with Microsoft .Net and SQL Server technology.
  3. Require expertise in developing data access and Web services, with good programming skills in C#, IIS (6.0 or later) and ASP.NET 4.0. Experience in XAML and Silverlight are plus.
  4. Deep understanding around the Microsoft Application stack of SQL and IIS, especially in the area SQL Database Service, Reporting Service and Integration Service.  Experience with Business Intelligence is a plus.
  5. Familiarity with IT governance and information security is a plus.
  6. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong problem solving abilities; ability to work effectively with people even under difficult circumstances. Proven ability to work with employees at all levels.
  7. Follows through on commitments.
  8. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and the ability to work collaboratively with user, development, and support groups. Builds collaborative relationships and contributes to the efforts and accomplishments of individuals and teams throughout the JCI organization.
