Job Description:
Our Federal Government client is looking for an experienced Network Analyst to assist with the day to day activities in support of the BCP as well general disaster recovery of all systems. The Senior Network Analyst will be tasked with the requirement to develop and maintain Disaster Recovery Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, and other documentations. They will need to maintain, monitor the BCP systems, and perform periodic testing of the failover procedures in a lab environment to ensure that in case of a crisis, critical operations can successfully be transferred to the alternate site. The resource will be called upon to assist with the BCP testing of the production network that will involve transferring operations to the alternate site and resuming normal operations following the test.
Job Requirements:
The successful candidate will have;
· At least two (2) year with significant* experience supporting a DR type environment that includes multiple systems such as e-mail, VMware ESX, VMware vSphere and networking components.
· At least two (2) years with significant* experience supporting, maintaining and troubleshooting SAN in a Production environment.
· A minimum of (1) year with significant* experience working with Microsoft Server technology version 2008 in a complex production environment.
· A minimum of five (5) years with significant* experience working with Microsoft Server technology from version 2003
· A minimum of ten (10) years with significant* experience working with Microsoft Server technology.
· Experience, administrating, supporting and troubleshooting SAN environment utilizing an HDS USPVM or HP EVA.
· Experience, supporting and troubleshooting a Brocade Storage Fabric.
· Experience supporting HP Procurve switches
· Experience supporting Nortel C2ntivity and/or CISCO VPNs
· Experience supporting and troubleshooting VMware ESX 3.x Enterprise with HA.
· Experience supporting and troubleshooting VMware vSphere 4.x Enterprise with HA.
· Experience implementing and supporting Windows 2008 Server Cluster.
· Experience in the operational support of Citrix Presentation 4.5 or later server farm.
· Excellent communication skills and experience writing technical documentation, Disaster Recovery Plans, process and procedures.
· Experience developing and troubleshooting automated Scripts using Powershell and other various languages in a production environment.
