A leading Financial Services organisation urgently seeks a Senior Network Engineer to join their team in London as soon as possible. The successful Senior Network Engineer will be joining a highly skilled team, and so you should be a strongly skilled Network Design Engineer that is capable and comfortable to work within a multi-vendor environment with exposure to Cisco, Juniper, F5, Brocade and Arista Kit.
The Senior Network Engineer will be involved in all aspects of the company's network from design, installation and support, through to troubleshooting and fine-tuning. Key responsibilities will include assisting in the management and day to day operation of the corporate and production network infrastructure, including new build, fault and capacity management. You will participate in the design of new infrastructure, support mission critical production infrastructure and communicate with technical staff throughout the business.

In order to be eligible for this role, the Senior Network Engineer (Cisco, CCNP, CCIE, TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, Routing, Switching, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, Firewall, Juniper, VOIP, Linux, Financial Services, FX, CFD, London) will have a set of all round skills including:
- Professional qualifications including CCNP, CCIE, Juniper or equivalent
- Excellent understanding of TCP/IP Routing and Switching (OSPF, BGP, MPLS VPNs, IP Multicast)
- Muliticast experience and financial exchange connectivity
- VOIP and QoS experience or knowledge
- Server Load Balancing (F5)
- Linux tools and basic Linux administration
- Excellent troubleshooting and configuration skills
- Financial Services background
