Senior Network Project Manager (Contract to Permanent) – Investment Bank recruitment
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing network infrastructure projects
• Delivering transformational network projects and the development of network infrastructure operational strategies and roadmaps
• Communicate with senior stakeholder on a daily basis
• Managing the vendor for Data Center/Office relocation project
• Work with the network operation team to manage network service for critical users and internal network infrastructure including perform network and firewall change request
• To carry out second level fault isolation, record fault symptom and perform diagnostic
• To provide second level support and project deployment
• Manage network monitoring system such as SMART, CiscoWorks, Vitalnet and CiscoSecure
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
• At least 8-10 years of working experience in data networking environment and 3 years working experience in banking environment
• Proven track record in Network infrastructure project management
• In depth knowledge on LAN/WAN/MAN protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, Spanning Tree, 802.1w) and Checkpoint/Juniper firewall (JUNOS)
• A strong working understanding of WANs, LANs, TCP/IP and associated networking (routers, switches, firewall, proxy server and wireless controller)
• Experience in IT Security and Firewall is preferred
• Cisco Certified Network Professional or Cisco Certified Internetworking Expert holder (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English are essential
