What you'll do
As our Senior Networks Engineer you will be expected to take full responsibility for the availability and performance of our core network infrastructure. You will play a key role in maintaining the network architecture; from day-to-day operations to the actual improvements in our entire network infrastructure.
You will be designing, building and leading innovative IT projects in an environment where you can be creative and pragmatic at the same time. Within our IT Operations Team you will have the freedom to work independently, but you will also work closely with our IT specialists and Traders towards optimal solutions.
Tasks
- Designing, implementing and maintenance of our network infrastructure;
- Performance tuning of Trading network infrastructure;
- Leading projects while coaching and supporting your team members;
- Translating business requests into strategic technical solutions;
- Research and implementation of new techniques.
What you'll need
- Excellent knowledge of Networks (design, implementation) on CCIE level (or equivalent);
- At least 6 years work experience as a Networks specialist;
- Experience in leading projects and/or teams; consultancy experience is a plus;
- An energetic, passionate and communicative nature;
- Eagerness to constantly improve your IT knowledge and personal skills;
- Willingness to travel;
- Bachelor or Master’s degree level.
