Senior Occupational Therapist - Hertfordshire - £28,000 - £30,000
Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting new role? Our client, one of the largest independent providers of secure mental health facilities across the UK, is looking to recruit a Senior Occupational Therapist to be based at a medium secure hospital in Hertfordshire.
Your role will involve delivering an Occupational Therapy service to patients and to assist in the maintenance of efficient service in line with CQC requirements. You will provide comprehensive, continuing OT assessments and will assist in the planning and running of individual and group treatment programmes, according to agreed intervention plans. Our client has extensive experience in caring for people with mental health problems and believes that with the right type of care and support, everyone can benefit from a brighter future.
To apply for this position you will have a diploma or degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HPC. You will also have experience of running therapeutic and activity groups, a basic knowledge of the principles of Clinical Goverance and an understanding of forensic patients needs. You will have the ability to communicate across a wide range of disciplines and with people from a wide range of backgrounds. Candidates should be passionate, hard working and willing to participate in professional development. This position is full time, with salary between £28,000 - £30,000.
