Senior Officer – Internal Audit recruitment

The roleholder is also expected to play an assisting role in identifying and advising the management the overall risk level / direction of the bank in operations and  recommending of corrective measures where required. He/She is required to develop, with the guidance of the Department's Management, a strong grasp of Banking and Internal Auditing. The role enthusiastically endeavors to assist in the Bank's audits and develop individual skills.

Assisting in audit planning, audit fieldwork, report writing and executing development projects. Reviewing and appraising the Bank's Operation / credit procedures in practice on a branch by branch basis, under the guidance of Audit Manager.

Detecting anomalies / weaknesses in the system and customer services and submitting ideas for improvement. Participating and conducting onsite audit assignments, performing field work in accordance with audit programmed conducting surprise inspections.

Assisting INA Senior Management in special audits and fraud investigations. Responding to audit queries following audit reports. Reviewing and analyzing the less complex quality studies.

Assisting with preparation of timely reports on the points raised in accordance with the departmental standards in terms of format, validity of points, etc. and ensuring conformity of issues raised in the report and reported in the synopsis.

Safeguarding the Bank against potential losses by reporting so that Operational / Credit controls of FGB standards are effectively carried out and are efficient in the branch audits. Assisting the Head of Internal Audit in preparation and adherence to the department schedule / work allocation.

Following up with auditees for audit responses. Maintaining infrastructure for the smooth conduct of audit assignments.
