2. Applicants should have extensive knowledge of fixed platform design and construction methods and knowledge of floating system concepts, including design of TLP, SEMI, and FPSO’s. Technical competencies should satisfy Job Competency Profile for an Offshore Structures Engineer JG3 as given in the CBD Technical Professional Competency Framework. As such, applicants will have experience of the design and construction of Offshore facilities and associated familiarity with structural design and analysis tools, hydrodynamics and motion analysis, wind loading, waves and current, structural dynamics and fatigue. Applicants should have a working knowledge of tools like SACS, USFOS, COSMOS, DYNFLOAT.
