Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing middle and back office operation function for alternative investment and fixed income business.
- Responsible for trade capture, enrichment and confirmation, corporate actions, account opening, data maintenance, daily trace, cash and position reconciliation, NAV reconciliation etc.
- Liaise with prime brokers and executing brokers, custodian banks and other service providers to follow up documents assigned, trade settlement and break resolution.
- Provide OTC related services including trade capture and maintenance, valuation, collateral management, reconciliation and document management etc.
- Support innovation of new business, structures and markets, manage and enhance all middle and back support frameworks to meet business needs.
- Provide advice on operation strategy to keep the businesses sustainable and excelled.
- Review and implement operational procedures to maintain operational efficiency, effectiveness and accuracy with an aim to mitigate operational risks and errors and ensure our operations are in compliance with regulatory and company policies and requirements.
- Collaborate with team members at all levels to complete daily tasks, share market and systems knowledge and develop best practice methodologies and approaches for business operation.
- Participate in any ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree holder in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related discipline(s).
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in investment operations / hedge fund operations / brokerage operations with at least 2 years at supervisory level
- Good knowledge in derivatives trading, clearing system and risk management.
- Good leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
