A newly created role has arisen which is ideal for a seasoned Operational Risk practitioner, To be successful in this role you will bring proven capability of defining a risk culture, writing the standards for the business and then driving this implementation.
This organisation is a major wealth management and insurance provider which is increasing its culture of risk awareness and has senior sponsorship from the business. The expectations and measures of success for this role are very clear. Prior wealth management or insurance experience will be expected from within the Australian market.
This position exists to document clear, accurate and practical procedure guidelines for improved risk management. Revise process flows, control matrices, breach guidelines and training scripts for dissemination to the business. Successful communication of a practical risk message will act as template for the entire group, therefore offering a high profile for this candidate.
In terms of the implementation agenda, prior risk systems or framework experience will be highly regarded. You will be responsible for cultivating an improved risk framework and communicating of this to the business and across senior committees. There is strong likelihood this role will go permanent after 6 months.
