A boutique European Private Bank is seeking an Operations Manager to lead, motivate and drive their Back Office to achieve targets efficiently and on time. The role will be 'hands on' and report directly to the COO, overseeing Settlements, FX, Structured Products and Custody.
Your daily duties will include but are not limited to:
- Providing leadership in the planning, organisation and controls over the day to day operational activities of the bank;
- Managing the bank's operational activities to ensure the achievement of financial objectives;
- Develops, reviews, updates and implements operational procedures in the areas of Operations in order to maintain a high level of efficiency, risk monitoring and quality of service;
- Maintains operational integrity and ensure back office function provides a high level of customer service.
Skills and requirements:
- At least 5 years of operational management experience within a Private Bank;
- Excellent communication skills, ability to liaise across different departments and levels of seniority on a daily basis;
- Ability to speak Cantonese is preferred although not essential.
