Senior Operations Strategy Specialist – London recruitment
A leading Investment Management and Investment Services company is currently looking for a Operational Strategy Senior Project Manager to join their organisation.
The successful candidate will be highly experienced in all aspects of change management, self sufficient, hands-on, flexible and will potentially work at different levels to either:
*Take responsibility for identifying productivity opportunities for a line of business, developing an implementation plan and executing on the plan. He/she will partner with business line manager(s) and design short, medium and long-term operational improvements that are aligned with the overall transformation strategy. The focus of this strategy will be process improvements, identification and elimination of non value added and/or duplicated activities, productivity improvements, cost structure reduction and accelerating off-shoring or near-shoring activities.
*Lead large corporate initiatives and interface with senior managers, external clients and SMEs in that capacity. You will also directly manage teams while executing projects and may be the Senior Operations Strategy representative at a large site.
*Manage all tasks needed for the successful completion of a project. This includes, project scoping, analysis, engaging key stakeholders and project implementation using many different tools including but not limited to Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma.
You must possess detailed operational knowledge, operational transformation experience and must be able to model and analyse improvement opportunities. You will be required to quantify operating improvement opportunities and consensus for ideas in a manner that bring diverse opinions together. You may provide input to policy level direction regarding standards, budgets, and constraints.
The position will require up to 30% travel.

Academic/Professional Qualifications
*Industrial Engineering degree preferred and or BA/BS
*Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen training or certification preferred
*MBA qualification is preferred
