Senior Operations Strategy Specialist recruitment

This role will join their Operations Strategy Group which is responsible for the identification and implementation of operating efficiencies across multiple business lines.  Operations Strategy is involved in a diverse range of large and smaller scale projects including developing corporate utilities, workflow management practices, and procurement efficiencies.  More broadly Operations Strategy is tasked with facilitating knowledge-sharing and best-in-class production practices across the company.

The incumbent will be highly experienced in all aspects of change management, self sufficient, hands-on, flexible and will potentially work at different levels. The incumbent must possess detailed operational knowledge, operational transformation experience and must be able to model and analyse improvement opportunities. 

 Candidates should have the following skills and experience:

• Extensive operational business experience (preferably within Financial Services or Investment Services)

• Strong background in an operations or consulting on operational issues

• Strong business process design / re-engineering

• Demonstrated experience leading large transformation projects

• Strong programme, portfolio and project management skills

• Strong financial (modelling) and analytical skills

• Proven strong leadership skills

• Proven problem solving skills

• Able to present to all levels of management

• Able to effectively execute under tight timeframes

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Industrial Engineering degree preferred and or BA/BS

• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen training or certification preferred

• MBA qualification is preferred
