Senior Oracle Developer – Banking recruitment
A leading Investment Bank is seeking a dynamic, motivated and highly skilled Senior Oracle Developer to work on some of the crucial projects within their European Systems Department.
You will be a qualified Senior Oracle Developer who works well in a team environment and enjoys the challenges of dynamic development projects, balanced against the day to day challenges of planning small change requests to enhance their internal systems.
You will provide support for planning, design and developing solutions using Oracle and 3rd line support for both internal and external database applications
As the successful candidate you will have in-depth experience developing in Oracle 10g/11g as well as :
Datawarehouse development, including Datamodelling and design. Analysis and data mining on very large databases.
Defining overall data architecture as it relates to task goals during the analysis, design, planning phases and implementation of each project.
Installs, configures and upgrades Oracle Database Servers
Preparation of work plans and time/cost estimates for development of proposed databases
Reviews of database development activities to assure conformance with design specifications
ETL (Extraction, Transformation and loading) experience required. In-depth PL/SQL knowledge to enhance and develop the data architecture required to support Oracle-based applications and Datawarehouse environments essential.
Experience in developing in Oracle Forms and Discoverer. Scripting knowledge and ability to standardise and automate tasks. Process development and definition. Knowledge of using Oracle iAS development
Experience in Linux and Windows Operating Systems
