Senior Oracle Developer - Experis is seeking Senior Oracle Developer for a project in San Diego with a major financial services company. The candidate should have very good knowledge in PL/SQL, SQL and Oracle database development including stored procedures, database triggers and database packages. The candidate must have more than 5+ years of development experience in Oracle forms and reports. The candidate should have good UNIX experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for this position.
The Senior Oracle Developer will be responsible for the following:
- Design, program, develop, analyze and implement database applications and database objects.
- Write or update code documentation, implementation instructions and integration tests for applications. Produce technical documentation in accordance with SDLC guidelines.
- Communicate with both technical and non-technical groups on a regular basis to pass along important information and to ensure the design and implements are understood by all parties.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize and improve existing database applications and database objects
- Develop Oracle forms and reports
- Develop database procedures and packages
- Develop UNIX shell scripts.
- Optimize the existing jobs using SQL/PLSQL tuning methodologies.

- Solid background with UNIX system (very comfortable in writing shell scripts)
